Black Lake The Black Lake lies to the south of Hogwarts Castle. It is almost half a mile in diameter and is filled with cold water. Students are not allowed to swim in the lake. The giant squid resides here. Moderator: Stern |

Gamekeeper's Cabin This large wooden hut was once used by Hagrid to live in, but as he has been replaced, the new gamekeeper now calls this place home. It consists of one room with a bed on one side and a table on the other. Moderator: Stern |

Care of Magical Creatures Field This large, yellowing field is lined with a wooden fence. Inside of this field, or sometimes just outside of it, the Care of Magical Creatures class usually meets.
